NOVARAFT RAFTING
Antalya - Turkey
Our base is Antalya Köprülü Canyon National Park. The natural and geological structure of the area is suitable for many outdoor sports. This richness of variety is the reason why Köprülü Canyon is the centre of our combined tours as well.
Including the ancient city of Selge and a part of Köprüçay river, Köprülü Canyon National Park is spread upon 36 thousand hectares land. The National Park is renowned as it is the biggest Mediterranean Cypress forest of the Mediterranean Region and the Middle East.
Novaraft base camp is the biggest and the most beautiful facility of the region. With our hot water showers, clean toilets, a well-cleaned industrial kitchen, resting lodges, volleyball courts, a restaurant and a bar; we offer you the warmth and the comfort of your house out in the woods. In our multi-purposed facility, there are also sites for tents and camping.
People have always thought of rafting as a branch of sports which can be done only by professionals. However, no previous knowledge is required for it. You don’t need to have taken a course or private lessons previously. Nevertheless, before you begin the tour you will be provided with the necessary information by your guide on how to paddle, how to sit in the boat and how to follow the commands briefly.
You have made up your mind. You want to paddle through the waves, get wet, and have fun, but how? Here, we provide you with different choices. You can participate in the rafting groups of 6, 8 and 10 people or you can try duckies of 2 people which you control yourself.
We provide you with choices to raft on beginner, intermediate or advanced level rivers depending on what kind action you look for.
RIVERS
Aksu River
Aksu river rafting course, taking place in the 35th kilometer of Antalya- Isparta highway has a difficulty level of 1. This course which we offer companies as an alternative of combined tours in our High Rope Course Park is ideal for families and student groups as well. The course, which can also be named as panoramic rafting, provides a unique taste of view while you are passing through the high walls and interesting rock formations.
Köprüçay River
Arising from the Taurus and passing through the canyons which are natural beauties, Kцprьзay falls into the Mediterranean from the south of Serik. Köprüçay river, feeding on the subterranean waters of the high-walled canyons standing on both sides, is one of the most beautiful natural recreation areas of Turkey. Besides that, Selge city, possessing a rich archeological heritage such as historical castles, aqueducts, bridges and roads from the Roman era, is also entitled as the most popular rafting course of Turkey. It hosts thousands of local and foreign tourists as it is close to the touristic sites like Alanya, Side, Belek and Kemer as well. The tour taking place between the historical Oluk bridge and Karabük bridge has the difficulty level of about 2-3. It also provides the visitors with breathtaking natural views and the opportunity to watch the Taurus Mountains as it flows through the National Park.
Alara River
Passing through the border of Alanya, Alara river has the difficulty level of about 3-4. Starting form the down part of Gündoğmuş village, the course is about 25 kilometer long and ends in the outskirts of Alarhan, the castle that dates back to the Seljukians. The river, flowing ebulliently especially in the spring, provides technical passages which require a high maneuver ability due to the difficulties caused by the irregular rock blocks. With this special feature, the river sustains adrenalin to the participants.
