DAILY JEEP SAFARI TOUR
Excellent value for money. THIS IS NOT A RALLY BUT A CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE BREATHTAKING SCENERY. Drive in Land Rover convoy to discover ancient city of Tlos, one of the oldest medical centres of the world. Relax at the beautiful Yakapark trout farm then on to Saklıkent "the hidden valley" for a delicious open buffet lunch sat on the riverside. Spend time exploring 2nd largest gorge in Europe before enjoying a FANTASTIC wallow in mud baths en route. Visit the ancient Lycian city of Xanthos before finally relaxing at Patara beach, Turkey’s longest stretch of sand. Join us as non-driver and be prepared to return a little tired and dusty, after your 180 km round trip.
DAY 1
Transfer from the airport to camping place in Цlьdeniz. Accommodation in tents near beautiful Ölüdeniz bay. Swimming, diving, paragliding, canoeing and other water sports available here in daytime. This is the most photographed beach in Turkey. Incoming party during the night, get informed about the tour and preparations.
DAY 2
Breakfast and shopping at the Fethiye town for drinks. Here adventure starts with Land Rover Jeeps. Visit Tlos ancient city. Lunch at Yakapark which is a place between mountains with a rich green scenery. Yakapark 650 m. high far away from the heat of the plains offers you all traditional foods including fresh trout comes from a live trout farm exists here.
Saklıkent Gorge is the last stop of the day. This canyon is an incomparable natural wonder. 300 m. deep and 18 km. long. Mud bath is an optional activity here. Real attraction is walking as far as 3 km through water and climbing over rocks. Dinner by the river at Saklıkent and accommodation in tree houses or tents.
DAY 3
Breakfast at Saklıkent Gorge and drive through mountain roads. Visit Arsa village and have chance to see real Turkish village life and culture while having apple tea or traditional Turkish tea. Picnic by the river on the way to Gömbe. Visit Uarsu mountain lake and trekking through mountain to see a beautiful waterfall. Dinner in a hotel in Gömbe and accommodation here.
DAY 4
Breakfast at the hotel and drive on the highway to Olympus ancient city which was one of the 6 major cities with a vote of 3 each in the Lycian league. See the Avlan lake and buy some fresh fruits from the villagers on the way to Olympus also called Yanartaş today. At Yanartaş optional visit to Olympus ruins and a few km. away from the ruins there is a spring of methane gas. This natural gas has been burning continuously since the pre-historic times. You have a vine party here during the night. Swimming and sunbathing is your choice in daytime. Accommodation in a hotel in Yanartaş.
DAY 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Move to Demre. Swimming stop at a nice beach in Finike. Visit Myra ruins and tomb of the St. Nicholas, later called famous Santa Claus. Lunch at Demre Harbour. Boat trip to Kekova and many beautiful bays around. At Kekova you are able to see the ruins underwater.
Swimming stops and dinner on board. Stay overnight in a nice silent bay near Kekova.
DAY 6
Breakfast on board and Return to the Demre Harbour. Visit little touristic town Kaş for lunch. Swimming stop at unique Kaputaş Beach. Stop at the hotel in Patara and 15 minutes of little walk to Patara Beach. When you reach sand hills you can see the 18 km of famous Patara Beach, one of the
longest in the world. Dinner at the hotel in Patara and stay overnight here.
DAY 7
Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy with your time doing canoeing, swimming or sunbathing. Back to the camping place in Ölüdeniz - Fethiye. You are again in most famous beach of Turkey. Water sports are available and you can even parasail with a beautiful view of the lagoon. If you want to fly higher you must go up on the mountain Babadağ here for paragliding. In the evening, optional but recommended Turkish Bath to get relaxed and get rid of all your dirty skins, have sauna and massage makes you feeling completely clean and fresh.
DAY 8
Transfer back to airport.
